Answer is simple: Read!

Why: To understand what’s coming and to have a good job in AI era.

What to read:

1/ "Life 3.0" by Max Tegmark

2/ "Zero to one" by Peter Thiel

AI might put you out of business.

Now ask: "Have I done everything to avert?"
Honest answer is: No, it's not even possible. You should plan to onboard AI IT employee(s) in near future or insource and train existing staff. Still, you should remain part of the process even if not technically skilled. Don't fully outsource the service!

Why do AI internally:

1/ In the long run its cheaper.

2/ You will avoid quick peak - quick drop effect in your business when fully outsourcing.

3/ Your business will adapt better and quicker to changes in AI, as internal staff can make quicker decisions and is more involved in ops.

Overall:  You need to get someone working daily on AI in your company to imprint AI potential to the very heart of your business.
